Her social media announcement comes days after British newspaper *Daily Mail* reported that the 52-year-old film producer had married 62-year-old O’Reilly over the weekend. The report described Jemima as an award-winning producer and a close friend of the late Princess Diana.
The wedding marks a new chapter in Jemima’s personal life, with the photographs offering the first public confirmation from her following the earlier media reports about her marriage.
Who is Cameron O’Reilly?
Cameron O’Reilly is an Irish-born Australian businessman and the son of the late media tycoon and international rugby star Sir Anthony O’Reilly.
An Oxford University graduate, O’Reilly spent part of his early career working in his father’s business interests, including Independent News & Media and Australian publishing company APN News & Media. He later moved into private investment and stepped down as chief executive of APN News & Media in 2000.
In 2003, O’Reilly launched private investment fund Bayard Capital and acquired Swiss metering company Landis+Gyr, subsequently serving as its chief executive. Toshiba later acquired Landis+Gyr in 2011 in a deal reportedly valued at $2.3 billion.
How Jemima and Cameron met
According to the information shared about the couple, Jemima and O’Reilly met while he was working as an executive producer on several documentaries and films. Their relationship reportedly began as a friendship before developing into a romantic relationship.
A close friend of Jemima had previously said that the two had known each other for a considerable period and initially met through work. The friend said they remained friends for some time before their relationship became romantic.
Jemima was previously married to Imran Khan. The couple married in 1995 and later divorced in 2004. They have two sons together.
Jemima’s latest Instagram post has now publicly confirmed her marriage to O’Reilly, turning earlier reports of the couple’s wedding into a confirmed development.
